A private boat tour: relax with your party

Pure enjoyment in the exclusive company of your friends, colleagues or family!

With a private boat tour, you have our boat all to yourself. Summer and winter, we sail you along the most exciting places, covered and heated if necessary. In Dutch and/or English, our skipper will tell you with enthusiasm the most beautiful stories about the historical city centre of Leiden or the typical Dutch Polder landscape of the Kagerplassen. We can adapt the route (available from 1.5 hours) and embarkation and/or disembarkation location to your wishes. Our boats are suitable for up to 10, up to 22 or up to 30 persons. Sailing with more persons is possible. You will then be booked on several boats.

Catering on board

Make your private boat tour a real treat with a delicious lunch, high-tea or drinks on board. Choose from one of our tasty options.

Additional languages with our audio app

Thanks to our audio app, we can offer audio tours in other languages besides Dutch and English during the cruise. If your party is multilingual, you can select the desired language on your own device. As soon as you sail past one of the information points, the app automatically plays the audio and shows information and photos about the locations. The app also includes an additional walking route through the historic city centre and can be used as a city map.

Sailing as a staff outing!

Sailing is an ideal way to explore the Leiden area with colleagues. Large and small groups are welcome for a boat trip. We always work punctually and leave nothing to chance to make your boat tour a successful corporate event. If desired, companies can pay by invoice. Ask for the conditions.

Lunch, snacks or high tea on board

When making your request, you can indicate in step 2 whether you would like to order catering on board.

Lunch

For our lunch we use freshly baked Waldkorn, corn and ciabatta from the local Frisian bakery Us Bertus.
These are richly filled with:

• mature cheese
• humus and grilled vegetables
• farmer’s brie
• spicy egg salad
• tuna salad
• salmon with cream cheese

Supplemented with raisin rolls served on the side and with lollo verde lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and a delicious dressing.

We also provide on board:

• mokka coffee of Douwe Egberts
• various types of tea
• sparkling water
• mineral water
• fresh orange juice

The price of our lunch is €17,50 per person, this price is excluding the boat rental.

Snacks

You can choose between two platters:

Snacks Classic

This platter includes:

• old cheese and herb cheese
• different dry sausages
• mixed nuts
• cherry tomatoes and cucumber
• Amsterdam onions and gherkins

Our Snacks Classic costs €9,50 per person, this price is excluding the boat rental.

Snacks “a bit of everything”

This platter includes:

• crackers and dipsticks with tasty dips and spreads
• old cheese and herb cheese
• different dry sausages
• raw vegetables/crudites with tzatziki
• mixed nuts
• Amsterdam onions and gherkins

Our Snack “a bit of everything” cost €14,50 per person, this price is excluding the boat rental.

Our boats are developed especially for us, so they meet our quality standards and are very durable as well . Our entire fleet is also electric, which means they are quiet, not just for you but also for the residents of Leiden.

Although everybody loves to sail in an open boat, the Dutch weather makes is impossible to guarantee nice, dry days.Because of this we’ve designed an ingenious roof construction that is suitable for the many low bridges that are so significant for the beautiful historic city of Leiden. And the best part? It uses plexiglass so you won’t lose any view. On better days we sail without the roof; a sailing convertible you could say!

Volta – up to 30 persons

The youngest in our fleet with 6 years of service. Comfortable and fully electric. Further developed on the Tesla, her older sister. Suitable for any weather type. Ideal for catering with large groups.

Tesla – up to 22 persons

Volta’s older, slightly smaller sister. She’s been with us now for 8 years and she’s just as comfortable as the Volta.

Nieuwe Rijn & Stille Rijn – up to 10 persons

Intimate boat for smaller gatherings. These boats are very comfortable and suitable for catering on board as well.
